Theme of the Week: Meeting the Confused
Bible Verse: “The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:18 NLT
Scripture Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:17, Colossians 2:13-14
There was a time I was headed for destruction, and I thought Christianity was more than foolish. I hit rock bottom, but Jesus met me right where I was and the condition I was in.
The cross transformed a “wretch like me,” as it says in the hymn, Amazing Grace, and will transform the life of anyone who opens their heart to Jesus, no matter where you’re at.
The theme of our devotionals this month is Journey to the Cross. This week we’re talking about Meeting the Confused.
Join us as we explore how Jesus seeks and saves the lost and meets us where we are – no matter the condition we’re in. Jesus knows our struggles, doubts, fears, the idols we worship, and anything that keeps us from knowing him. Despite our circumstances, the love of Jesus will overcome any barrier between him and us.
