Theme of the Week: God Our Father
Bible Verse: “See what great love the Father has given us that we should be called God’s children—and we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it didn’t know him.” 1 John 3:1
Scripture Reading: 1 John 3:1-10
Being a good dad is not easy. For one thing, our children do not come with instruction manuals. Also, as earthly fathers, we’re constantly bumping up against our own inadequacies and failures.
But there is hope. The good news is that God, our Heavenly Father, has given us his Word, and from it, we can glean wisdom and direction as to how we can be the best fathers to our children.
In our devotions this week, we’ll look to the Bible to reflect on different ways that we as earthly fathers can model for our children the same love that we receive from God our Heavenly Father.
