In Daily Devotional by Paul Fraser

Theme of the Week: God’s Plan in Four Verbs

Bible Verse: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

I hope you can take a break this summer – but not in your relationship with God.

Summers are a great time to rest, recharge, and slow down our busy lives. Take time to read these daily devotionals to help keep your relationship with Jesus growing.

Can you take time this summer to reflect on what God is doing in your life?

You can recalibrate your life to ensure you are following His plan for you and check how open you are to whatever is next. But, how do we discern God’s plan for us?

This week we will look at the life of David. Do you resonate with some of the things David experienced in his life?

We find four key verbs in Psalm 78:70-72 that describe how God moved in David’s life that can help us understand how God could be working in our lives.

  • choose
  • call
  • take
  • make

Join us this week as we look at the Psalms and how these four verbs affected David’s life, and how they might affect yours.
