Stand Strong Recap

In Daily Devotional by Walk Thru The Bible

Theme of the Week: Stand Strong

Bible Verse: “And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. And as was his custom, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read” Luke 4:16 ESV

Scripture Reading: Luke 4:16, 1 Corinthians 12:27-28

This week, we have explored what it means for men to stand strong. Here are some of the highlights to help you remember and apply these practical points:

On The Right Track: As Christ followers, we need to remain focused. Follow God, but be alert to an enemy who wants to get you off track.

Exploring God’s Omnipotence: When the voice inside your head says, “I can’t,” turn to God, who says, “I can, and I will, give you all the strength you need.”

Read, Christian, Read: Some consider the reading of good books to be optional, but the Bible itself comes to us in the form of a book, and Christians have often been known as “people of the Book.”

Wearing God’s Armor: Spiritual warfare is Christ-dependent. He has given us what we need, and He is with us by His Spirit. Walk confidently in His truth and power.

Walk In Love: Wave a white flag to God’s plan for your marriage today. It may sound like defeat, but it’s actually the path to lasting victory.
